จิตรกรรมฝาผนัง ปู่ม่าน-ย่าม่าน

เป็นจิตรกรรมฝาผนังของวิหารในวัดภูมินทร์  เป็นภาพแสดงวิถีชีวิต และการกระซิบของหนุ่มสาวชาวม่าน  และกลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของเมืองน่าน ที่ต้องมาเที่ยวชม

วัดช้างค้ำวรวิหาร

    1.ลองแต่งกายพื้นเมือง

   ชาวน่านนิยมแต่งกายด้วยผ้าพื้นเมือง ที่มีความงดงามเป็นเอกลักษณ์  เช่น ผู้หญิงใส่เสื้อแขนกระบอก นุ่งผ้าซิ่นที่ทอด้วยมือ ลายน้ำไหล เป็นต้น

    2. ลองเขียนภาษาเมือง (ตั๋วเมือง)

   ซึ่งเป็นภาษาเหนือ ของทางล้านนาโบราณ มีวิธีการเขียน และอ่านที่แตกต่างจากภาษาไทย นิยมเขียนในคัมภีย์ในลาน ถือว่าเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่มากด้วยคุณค่า ที่ควรสืบทอดไว้

    3. ลองพูดคำเมือง (อู้กำเมือง)

    ภาษาเมือง หรือคำเมือง เป็นภาษาที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว เน้นการพูดแบบช้าๆ มีความไพเราะ อ่อนหวาน  สามารถเรียนรู้ได้โดยใช้เวลาไม่นาน

อาหารพื้นเมืองห้ามพลาดคือ

1.สาหร่ายไก  

เป็นสาหร่ายน้ำจืด ที่พบได้ในลำน้ำน่าน ชาวน่านนิยมนำมาปรุงเป็นอาหารพื้นบ้าน เป็นอาหารที่มีคุณค่าทางอาหารสูง และดีต่อสุขภาพ

2.ข้าวหลามเมืองน่าน

ด้วยคุณสมบัติพิเศษของไผ่ที่ขึ้นในจังหวัดน่าน ทำให้ข้าวหลามมีความหอม และอร่อย จนกลายเป็นของฝากขึ้นชื่อ

3.ขนมซี่

เป็นขนมพื้นเมืองดั้งเดิม ของจังหวัดน่าน  ที่มีกลิ่นของข้าว และมีความหวานของน้ำตาลอ้อย

สมัยโบราณใช้ในพิธีสู่ขวัญ   ปัจจุบันเป็นของฝากที่ขึ้นชื่ออีกอย่างหนึ่ง ของจังหวัดน่าน

4.ลูกต๋าว

หรือ ลูกชิด  เป็นผลไม้ที่มีอยู่ในป่า นิยมนำมาเชื่อมกับน้ำตาล แล้วนำไปใส่ในของหวาน ไอศกรีม รวมมิตร 

5.ไก่ทอดมะแขว่น

เป็นเมนูที่นำไก่ ไปทอดกับมะแขว่น  ซึ่งเป็นสมุนไพรชนิดหนึ่ง คล้ายกับพริกไทย  แต่มีกลิ่นที่หอมเป็นเอกลักษณ์   และเป็นอาหารสูตรเด็ดที่หาทานได้ที่เมืองน่านเท่านั้น

6.ส้ามะเขือ

เป็นอาหารพื้นบ้านของชาวน่าน โดยนำมะเขือขื่น มาคลุกเคล้ากับเครื่องเทศและสมุนไพรนานาชนิด อาหารพื้นบ้านที่ดีต่อสุขภาพ

7.ปลาแม่น้ำน่าน

เป็นปลาที่ขึ้นชื่อเรื่องความสด หอม อร่อย เนื้อนุ่ม เพราะอยู่ในน้ำที่สะอาด มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์  นำมาปรุงอาหารได้ทุกเมนู
